Mid-Career and Leadership Award Nominations

These awards recognize significant individual performances in Illinois Prescribed Fire Management. They are earned by individuals who have gone above and beyond their normal job responsibilities and who have provided exemplary contributions to prescribed fire in Illinois.

Directors will present the awards at the IPFC Symposium, and the names of the award recipients will be posted on the website.

Leadership Award
The Illinois Prescribed Fire Council’s Leadership Award honors individuals with sustained, career-long contributions and exceptional leadership in advancing prescribed fire in Illinois.

Mid-Career Leadership Award
The Illinois Prescribed Fire Council’s Mid-Career Leadership Award recognizes emerging leaders who have demonstrated significant impact and promise within the prescribed fire community during the early to middle stages of their careers.
