Dave Cassin

Dave Cassin is US Navy veteran with structural fire training during Operation Desert Sheild/Storm. He attended Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago and received a degree in Natural Resources Management. His first prescribed burn experience was with the Schaumburg Park District where he was the Natural Resource Manager. He worked for Hey and Associates, Inc. as a Field Services Manager for 8 years, and has been the manager of Landscape Ecology for the Lake County Forest Preserve District for almost 13 years. In all, he has participated in, bossed, and overseen the implementation of approximately 750 prescribed burns throughout Chicagoland during his 26-year career.
